538 assumes that 1) state polls move with national polls and 2) all states move in concordance with each other. A bad poll in say, MO (which she had) will lower her chances anywhere. Plus there was a poll showing T+7 (lol) in NC.

I mean, it definitely hurt her. But I don't see anything that would indicate that it's why she's doing only slightly worse. When people don't have to see Trump speak, he goes up in polls. He'll probably make a little bit more ground through the week unless a negative story about him breaks.
