I've been really getting into Tinashe recently but I feel like her lane is already occupied.
She's basically Janet Jackson (not much of a singer, sexy, edgy, dancer, urban crossover). The problem is I can't see an act like Janet popping of in 2015. Look at Ciara.
Then again, I guess I did just describe Rihanna minus the dancing. Who knows?

I feel like that lane is wide open if she goes pop. The urban field is too crowded now with every girl doing the same sound. And honestly Ciara had a lot of issues that messed her career up, plus her songs are kinda dated and not very fresh.
