Jackie is easily her best and strongest album. The lyrics, the production, the sound, the vocals and the feel of the album is perfection.

This is true, I always compared her to Selena Gomez or Nicki Minaj when it came to singing. She sounds very weak on her urban songs but on these pop songs you can clearly see she has a cute voice.

Why? the music was 10x better when she was doing urban stuff than the pop stuff on this. It doesnt matter if she flops or not as long as the music is good, which it doesnt compare to her other stuff.
She gives her usual mini mouse whisper vocal on her black songs She's like Cassie but with a bit more range and a bit less beautiful tone. This album howeva is the first time she held a note for longer than 3 seconds and I am a bit impressed.

i think that might just be because her vocals have improved not sure it has anything to do with the genre of her music (although she did give me powerhouse vocalist on Turn It Up)

This too tbh. And besides EVERY major urban star has a mostly pop album. Beyonce, Chris, Usher, etc... it's how you gain fans and hits. Ciara can easily balance both.
