Not Elton again. This show is so ****ing dated. I mean, who's listening to Elton John, still? He's so not relevant anymore (besides that, I never liked any of his songs).

Last year's and this year's themes really suck(ed).

Jay's performance yesterday was a joke and his voice was particularly annoying in the sing off, but losing to someone like Stevie must feel like a very low blow. Deadlock is terrible, these judges can never get to a real agreement even when the obvious option is right on their faces.

Ugh. These artists themes are the worst.

The themes are a major contributing factor to the death of this show. Moreso than the judges, the contestants, etc. No one wants to see Elton John, Whitney Houston, Queen, etc week after week.

If they sang current songs at least 50% of the time, I would bother to watch the show (rather than just looking up OTY's performances on youtube).
