Yeah but the promo says "Lady Gaga's new album, Joanne" so people will go listen to/buy the album and get A-YO with it. At least that's what I think.
Applause's Kia SOUL commercial also did wonders for the song. DWUW's Best Buy Beats commercial went on for like 2 weeks only.
Actually the only reason this album is doing great is because of the good word of mouth promo. The only promo that matters. If it was because of the commercial ARTPOP would have been doing much better than it did. Ayo is not getting any sort of boost from the commercial. Meanwhile KHIA commercial was HUGE and it certainly helped the single, but had no effect on the album. Just like this.
People are genuinely liking the album thus far and recommending it to others.
