I've officially applied for the PhD program again! Now I can relax, and not stress because I have no control over the situation. Hooray!
As for my love life, my boyfriend and I are hitting the one year mark in February. I want to do something special for it, but I have no idea. I'm planing on going to spend the weekend in Mont Tremblant, Quebec at a fancy hotel with him for his Christmas gift, but with his birthday coming in January and our anniversary in February, I'm not sure if it's appropriate to combine the two into one large gift? Also, I don't have a lot of money and I'm barely started to make some now. I just can't afford to take him on a huge all expenses paid trip because I can't afford it at the moment.
Anyone know what the call here is? Do I combine a birthday + anniversary gift for something big? Is there anywhere relatively reasonable to go without being in so much debt?
