The eras were great but her songwriting has vastly improved since then. I think she just needs more of a structured team to help all of her ideas come to fruition in the best way.

If she releases the next music under the name Act II it's going to fail commercially, I'd rather her wait until the tours over/space trip to debut the lead single from V (praying she calls it that) and then release a new album in May 2015. If she takes another extended break, the public are gonna lose complete interest.

I agree with you that I took TF/M for granted, but BTW and ARTPOP are amazing as well, though they are totally different directions and not aimed at the radio/mainstream

And yeah, wouldn't trade ARTPOP or BTW for anything, they are both great albums. I just find it frustrating, though, that (I feel) Gaga doesn't get the respect she deserves and that people are so quick to forget all she did for the music industry upon her arrival. This forum in particular. I get that she's competing with their faves for #1s, but it's like people aren't capable of liking more than one popstar, let alone acknowledging their success.

I've had that attitude the entire era, but something in me says this MV is coming... and it's going to deliver to all those who have written Gaga off as an act that ended mid-2011.

This. I just want an awesome MV - the fact that there's been none for 7 months has made the era seem emptier than it actually was in late 2013 tbh.
