She's totally right. Monsters are panicking and stressing way too early. She and the label are working on it. Of course it takes a little time to get everything accomplished. Before you all melt down let's give it a little time. We don't even know what all is going to happen within the next days. Even if Venus is technically a better track, it doesn't really matter because what she needs is a simple pop song that the public likes in the run up to the album release, and Do What U Want will do that; you're still getting Venus on Sunday so chill.

The point of the singles is to promote the album (seemingly forgotten a lot, maybe not surprising considering some peoples faves) so she just needs something out there fighting the cause.
