Why do Avril fans think shes the #1 Worldwide Artist of 2007?

Her only real big hit was 'Girlfriend' and that only charted at #7 on the Year-end charts and her album isnt the #1 seller either...how can she be the Artist of 2007? I swear some fans can be delunsional
