I really wanted this song to become a big hit, if only airplay was larger, I still haven't lost hope though, I remember when Elliot's performance of Wait For You gave the song the boost it needed to become a hit!
and also, Break the Ice #40 on iTunes Pop 100! and the top 29 songs on the Pop 100 are on the Top 100 so Britney's extremely close!
I really want to see what happens once Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" and Usher's "Love In This Club" and see if one of them goes straight to #1 on the i-tunes charts or both of them do and one breaks an i-tunes record. Both are probably guaranteed to go top 10 on i-tunes probably even guaranteed to go top 5. They'll probably both get released at the same time too since their albums will probably come out in the same month lol that would be funny. But it will be interesting and amazing to watch. I'm so proud of these two legends. Both legends on the pop charts and in r&b. In fact I'll wait till the songs are actually hits though even though it's highly likely that they will both be huge hits but I don't want to jinx it. But if both singles go straight to the top of charts then I think it's wise for me to call Mariah Carey to be the Queen of Pop/R&B and Usher the King of R&B I just could never call him the King of Pop because to me MJ is still the King of Pop. So if that happens Mariah will have 18 #1 singles I believe and Usher will have 8.

They both are climbing a lot on all three formats! They are so close to each other on all three formats. Usher tends to do better in downloads than Mariah though.

I seriously think there could be a good chance that both of these big potential hits are both going to be on top of the Billboard Charts. I mean it is Mariah and Usher we are talking about here. Mariah's been a hitmaker since like 1990 with Vision of Love I believe and Usher has been a hitmaker since You Make Me Wanna in 1997. 11 and 18 years of hits from each artist. Anytime you have artists that have either 7 singles on top of the Billboard Charts or 17 it's hard not to talk about these what I would call legends because there are other legends who haven't even gotten 5 #1 singles and 1 that hasn't even gotten 1. Unless one of the singles really dominates and does a "Yeah!" or a "We Belong Together" but I have to think both songs will be on top of the charts. But we'll see. So far the year of 2008 is looking good Mariah and Usher have terrific comeback singles now only if the King of Pop would comeback and put out an album of new material and put out an album at least similar to Invincible then it would be 3 legendary comebacks. But the way it's looking 08 is becoming a great year for music well that is except for rap the only real rappers out right now with singles are Kanye and Lupe.

Really? If so that would be sweet I thought it was just going to go top 10 but I guess with the airplay he's got a shot huh? That would be absolutely awesome for hip hop! I hope his next single "Paris, Tokyo" has the same type of success as Superstar since that is the best song off his album with that cool jazz sound

I think "Hip Hop Saved My Life" would be a better choice, than "Paris, Tokyo" (Thanks to "Superstar", I've gotten more into his stuff, and just bought "The Cool" yesterday.
