anyone have their list of singles ready yet? assuming all goes perfectly (nothing ever does in pop music these days) i'm thinking...
1. Heart Attack (Feb - May)
2. Made in the USA (June, Summer) / probably not my first choice for the second single, but it's definitely grown on me. hopefully the video is great! i think it can be a moderate hit, but i don't think it will be as successful as HA.
3. Really Don't Care (September, Fall)
obviously this track has gotten the most sales so far (only been a day obviously, but it's still a large factor), and i think it has the it factor to be a huge pop hit. with a performance on XF with Cher, i think it could really take off.
4. Nightingale (January, Winter)
i really think a ballad single from this album is a must. though i think SCB is a better song, and obviously Warrior is connecting with a lot of people, Nightingale can be the most well-liked in all factors. great vocal, nice lyrics, emotional connection, check check check.
5. Without the Love / Two Pieces (April, Summer)
i'm definitely feeling a pull from the label for WTL, but i'm definitely feeling a pull from the fans for TP. i really can't see a 5th single happening, but i'm sure one of these two would be the choice made for it. or maybe Something That We're Not? or maybe Neon Lights? who knows.

Could she have greater physical sales over Vampire Weekend? It maybe a long shot to get DEMI to #1 but there's still a possibility. I am praying.
Gonna buy my copy tomorrow, if it'll already be available in my country. I AM HOPING! I need that physical copy!

there were a few left and it was only 11AM!
i should've put unbroken copies next to it so ppl would think it was a 2-for-1 thing

Neon Lights was my absolute least favorite when I first heard the album, but now I find myself listening to it on purpose lol. It's not that bad, it just has no real business ever being a single. Straightforward power pop is what Demi does best.

Wait but have you guys seen this?!

THREE HORSE RACE: Look for a spirited battle for the #1 spot on next week’s HITS Album chart among XL’s Vampire Weekend, Hollywood’s Demi Lovato and MCA Nashville old standby George Strait, who is definitely the dark horse in this three-way race. All three should top six figures. Stay tuned to HITS’ Building Album Chart and this Rumor Mill to handicap the rundown to next Tuesday. (5/14p)
|
So if George Strait is the dark horse here but still should crack 100k...
or am i reading too much into this.

Me too but it can't get worse than Unbroken
She's gonna drop 50% at least or even more imo.

Idk Vampire Weekend is #1 on Amazon's physical album chart, while Demi is #16. On the digital chart VW is #1 & Demi is #3.
There's a possibility though.

What could also be the case is that the predictions will be over the top, we all know most of her fans buy her music pretty fast.
So we can probably expect the actual sales to decrease a few thousand from the prediction but we'll see!

My single choices would be:
1. Heart Attack - February 2013
2. Made In The USA - June 2013
3. Two Pieces - October 2013
4. Without The Love/In Case - February 2014
Two Pieces is my #4, but it literally would be the PERFECT Fall single.
Nightingale just doesn't quite scream single to me, but I can see it being the theme song to the next Nicholas Sparks movie.

I guess I can still pray for it, although I should not expect it.
At least it's getting six-digit opening numbers, I should be very happy with that.

Oh yeah I'm quite sure she's passing 100K, definitely. Just by how much, I'm not sure.
Does anyone have the Unbroken chart run, with positions and sales?
