Seriously the whole Interscope losing millions from her album thing is obscene and I find it obscene that they have done nothing to dispel that slander. It makes her look really bad and people believe it.

Would it matter if she did deny it right away? Cheng would of posted false insider info to make whatever Gaga or her team said sound like a lie and the media would of pick it up. She damn if she did and damn if she didn't. But I still would like to know what the 25 million dollars could of went to for this era. I would of believed 25M if BTW flopped because you could see where the money was going. Everything this era looks hella campy and cheap, that number doesn't even make sense.

I've been saying this for so long. It was Nick who said that they probably didn't think it would turn into anything big (since the Examiner is so small) but certain individuals and certain stans used and promoted it across the whole web and space so we were left with a storm. Which realistically does not even make sense as Gaga has been so incredibly cheap this era.
You guys are referring more to her like seashell outfits and stuff but lets not forget that she got a flying dress this era, one could only imagine how much that probably cost. It may not look like much but she worked with NASA. I mean that had to be ****ing expensive. Not to mention having to probably pay to work with professional artists like Jeff Koons and ordering a giant sculpture. NASA offered stuff to Gags though because she is giving them promotion by going to space. NASA is literally desperate for any funding because the government just doesn't care about space anymore (it's the reason why all of these celebs are going out into the great beyond). Jeff Koons was probably pricey but I think him and Gaga are actually friends and her name-dropping him was probably enough in royalties to cover all of that. Speaking of Koons though..

I agree that the promo must have been in the millions, just not 25 million, and not out of Interscope's pocket. I also don't believe they fired people because of Gaga's album. It is damn near impossible for Gaga, who is the second major artist on the label next to Eminem, to save jobs with her album sales alone.
