I feel like dragging sales in general is kinda irrelevent these days. Nobody is selling anything. I wouldn't surprised if 25 sells like 4m copies max (the catastrophic draggings that will ensue ). Even the blockbuster album of the year, Frozen has sold, what, 5m?

I really don't understand why it's so funny to you, or you think it's irrelevant. Spotify will be bringing in more revenue than iTunes in Europe by the end of the year, and the rest of the world will follow. Streaming is growing, sales are dying. It's really not complicated.

As much as I hate to say this, but yeah he's right about streaming. People look at me like I'm from outer space when I grab my iPod to put on a different album/track. Everybody, especially here in The Netherlands, uses Spotify on their iPhone's and/or tablets. For example when I sit in the train I see everyone looking down on a ****ing screen.
