When did Adele start writing 25? 2013 is when she did Remedy, but that wasn't the beginning of 25 really, when did she go back in the studio? I think we'll get a better idea when her 4th album comes out once she returns to the studio. I'm guessing it'll come out between 2018-2019.
i think it's a good thing her age trilogy is over since she might feel a bit more free with themes and subjects for next album. maybe more general topics, more stuff she cares about but aint necessarily about her. like important issues like environment, violence against women, gays, wars and nostalgia regarding the good ol times in the wild west or smt..
I don't think Adele would ever go that far in her lyrics and themes. Maybe here and there but I doubt it. I'm fine with Adele writing mostly love songs about heartbreak, but she should bring something new to the table next time.
Before 25 came out I always thought it would've been explicitly about postpartum depression (she's alluded to going through it) and artistically it would've been an interesting and cool take on heartbreak. When you think about 19 and 21 (especially 21) could easily be applicable to people struggling with depression. As 19 was about young teen love, 21 about love as an adult, 25 could've been about love and heartbreak as a mother. We know she did in fact write an album about her son and being a mother, but idk if those songs were happy or sad, or both. She could revisit those themes for her next album and build on that. Maybe write about the struggles of being a modern woman who works and is a mother at the same time.
Who yall think will be her first mainstream album collab ? I think Bruno Mars / Ed Sheeran are the best possible first options.
Not sure, as much as I crave a collab (especially with Beyonce), I find it quite special and nice that she has never released anything mainstream with a feature and hasn't featured on anyone else's track mainstream. It's quite rare with someone of her caliber.
lol please no . Original content is usually always better than covers. Birdy's worse album imo is her cover album, so if Adele did something similar it would probably be a big mess. Plus covers are usually pretty boring

I appreciate it for sure! Features can definitely be overdone at one point so she should do it sparingly. I wouldn't mind a Beyonce collab As for Bruno Mars, I don't like the direction of his current music so I would say no to him. Ed Sheeran is also a bit meh and I feel like his voice offers nothing to Adele's voice

I agree. In addition, if Bruno and Adele didn't collab vocally on All I Ask I don't think that they will anytime soon.

Just sumthing...Unplugged album would be the best option though..or she could pull a Birdy..cover album
