Azealia on Letterman

Promoting her latest single Paradiso and her new album Reborn, Azealia Banks appeared on The David Letterman show where she talked all her future plans including announcing a tour she will be taking part in very soon. The interview lasted 20 minutes and also had a performance of her song Paradiso along with the interview. Promoted before hand by CBS, Azealia Banks was a highly anticipated guest by viewers as she is becoming known for her controversial interviews. In the interview, Azealia Banks spoke on other popstars, who she would collab with and who she wouldn't. Along with the tour announcement, Azealia also talked about an upcoming CBS special she'll be doing in promotion of her album Reborn and her song Paradiso.
During the performance, Azealia is seen wearing a a silk caftan with split in the back that goes down to her lower back, revealing the top of her butt. Patterned with palm trees on a sandy beige with pale green seams and ends, Azealia was looking like a 1960s rich housewife on the beaches of Malibu. Wearing large circular sunglasses taking half of her face and wavy shoulder length black hair, finished off with a glossy flesh tone lip, Azealia was owning the Valentino outfit built for her. Revealed later in the performance when she moved the bottom of the caftan, Azealia is wearing high heeled beachy flip flops, also designed by Valentino.
As the beat to Paradiso played, Azealia walked up to the mic with a coconut filled with some concoction she was drinking out of. Removing her sunglasses with a single hand, Azealia threw the designer sunglasses to the side as she smashed the coconut cup on the ground, rapping the lyrics to the first verse of Paradiso. No one was on stage except Azealia and the spot light shone on her and waves could be heard in the background over the beat of Paradiso and Azealia's rap flow. With her arms moving in snake like formation to the music and the sound of her own voice, Azealia was owning the stage as she closed her eyes in this beautiful caftan she wore. After finishing off the relaxing performance of Paradiso, Azealia then added in a mix of both Vibes and her Spitfire verse where she then began moving around the stage more and talking into the camera as she rapped. After the killer performance of Paradiso with bits of Spitfire and Vibes, Azealia did a bow to the standing ovation given. The performance of Azealia was immediately put on Letterman's YouTube where it has since gained a million views. With a quick commercial break, the show was back and Azealia was sitting down ready to discuss the album, Paradiso, and more. Highlights:
Q: You gave us an amazing performance up there. I love this and prefer it over Vibes, honestly.
A: Thank you! Yeah I don't know though, I love both songs. They're two of the best on the album and I feel they're very representative of who I am and how I've been feeling at the moment.
Q: I love the songs. Paradiso is a very beachy hip hop song. Something I've never heard. Like Beach Boys meets Bjork meets Missy Elliott.
A: That's what I was going for. It's a weird song but I love it. It's something no one has really ever seen out there, I think. Paradiso is such an original track. I mean who has ever done something like it? Plus anyone can enjoy it and it's perfect for summer.
Q: Didn't you sample your older song of the same name?
A: Yes I did! There's a track called Paradiso on my first mixtape Fantasea and all my fans and even me, we wanted a longer track because I mean the original Paradiso is less than a minute long and it needed more. It deserved more. Such a good track shouldn't be paid the whole interlude treatment you know? So I decided that I would add more producers and bring the song to life and I'm happy with how it turned out, honestly.
Q: It's really a great song and everyone here has been listening to it constantly. Tell me about the album though. You just dropped it and what's it called?
A: Yes I JUST dropped my new album which is called Reborn. It's a 10 track album. I have worked constantly on this album since I had my accident where I got hit by a bus last year. As many people know, I had an album before this called Domination which was more happy, upbeat, and just about partying. This album is different. The whole album is all about the interpretation. It's about love, life, drugs, just all the above. My current single off my album Paradiso is about life and the beach. Reborn is something I've never done before and I'm happy with how it's turned out. So many people have been enjoying the album and I have been to. I was scared to release it because I was worried it wasn't going to be well received but I have been getting so much love for Reborn. It's my favorite work I've released, ever.
Q: The album is really great. A work of art, honestly. My favorite tracks have to be Paradiso and Vibes though. Such good solid songs that represent Reborn as an album. You have an announcement for your fans though.
A: Yes I actually have TWO big announcements for my fans. I will be going on tour this summer. Dates have yet to be confirmed, that will all be revealed in the next week but the tour will be called "The Lift Off" it will start in LA and I will tour all over the US before going to Europe. I have the tour poster all worked out and it'll be revealed next week. It's supporting my new album Reborn and there will be killer performances of Vibes and Paradiso so I want everyone to come check it out!
Q: Sounds great! So tell us about that other big announcement.
A: The OTHER big announcement is that I have a concert special coming on CBS this Friday and it will be live! I will perform songs off my new album as well as older songs. Along with that, I'll be interviewed by the legendary reporter Barbara Walters. I hope everyone watches. It'll be this Friday at 8 pm EST. See me perform Vibes, Paradiso, and other songs off the album live on TV!
Q: We can't wait to see it! Now we're going to ask you one thing, you and Rita Ora have been having issues lately. Will you guys make up in the future?
A: Yeah I don't see it. Sorry!
Q: Well there you have it! Thank you everyone for watching. Be sure to buy Azealia Banks' new album Reborn on iTunes as well to purchase Paradiso, her new single! Goodnight everybody!

Britney Spears releases Gimme Your Best: The Remixes (EP)
Tracklist:
-Gimme Your Best (The Bad Girl Mix) ft. Lindsay Lohan & Paris Hilton
-Gimme Your Best (The Junkie XL Mix)
-Gimme Your Best (Double Trouble Mix) ft. Jamie Lynn Spears
-Gimme Your Best (The Sigma Mix)
-Gimme Your Best "It Ain't Good Enough" (The Matrix & Futurebound Mix)
Britney Spears surprise released a remix EP of her hit single "Gimme Your Best" earlier today. The Remix EP features Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Jamie Lynn Spears and a new verse in the "It Ain't Good Enough" Mix with Matrix & Futurebound. The remixes are club-smashers and were sent out to all the hottest clubs around the world last night, the approval rating resulted in the release of an official remix EP. The Bad Girl Mix is the most talked about as it features verses from Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton as they reminisce about their old days being a bad girl with Miss Spears herself. All the remixes make you wanna dance with infectious new pop tunes and a hard hitting bass on each track. The remixes were released at noon today with nothing more than a tweet by Britney and other featured stars Paris, Lindsay, and Jamie: "Get the club remixes of Gimme Your Best with surprise features, new verses, and hot new beats" and a link to the EP on iTunes. The remix EP got a little more promotion than that; however, as it takes up the spot of the main banner on iTunes worldwide.

Today, Sky Ferreira took to Twitter to drop her new single titled 'Wild At Heart' which will be featured on her currently untitled album which will also be her debut on her new record label, Ultraviolent Records.. The synth-pop banger which bears a resemblance to the Ghost EP fan favorite track, Lost In My Bedroom, brought a fresh summery vibe to the music industry that is destined to smash the charts soon.
"I released an album on my other record label called Night Time My Time with a very alternative-rock vibe, but while recording it, I realized that it wasn't the type of music that I wanted to be making," Ferreira tells her hundreds of thousands of fans on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and various other social media websites, "This new song is what I have been wanting to release for such a long time, and I'm glad that I can finally share it with all of you! Thank you to Ariel Rechtshaid, Justin Raisen, Diplo, and everybody over at my new label, Ultraviolent Records, for having the same vision as me."
Fans may know the song title 'Wild At Heart' since it was the working title of Sky's debut album and a song itself, but she assures that it has nothing to do with anything from that era. "The music from 2011 and before were not actually 'me', it was who my label wanted me to be."
Be sure to look out for this infectious dance track on the charts since it will definitely be making waves!

GAGADECAYSNEEKPEAK.ZIP FILE LEAKS CONTAINING 3 NEW TRACKS.
A zip. file named "gagadecaysneekpeak.zip" was leaked today by a SoundCloud account called JohnzunPika this morning. The account posted all 3 new songs; Mistress Of The Runway/Slave To The Dance Floor, Celebritique and Minute Of Decay (feat. Marilyn Manson). It was quickly spread around social media.
Mistress Of The Runway/Slave To The Dancefloor is a song with Vogue influences (not the Madonna song silly, the ACTUAL music genre) that pretty much consists of Gaga talking about werkin' the runway and how she is a slave to the dancefloor and to her audience.
Celebritique is a satirical song about celebrity worship and about how you have to dress and behave as a celebrity. Similiar to Donatella but with much better lyrics and production.
Minute Of Decay is a cover of a 1996 Marilyn Manson song from his iconic album "Antichrist Superstar". The song also features the shock-rocker.

Sky Ferreira makes a surprise appearance on The Today Show
Ms. Sky Ferreira definitely wastes no time in getting some promotion for her singles! Directly following the release of the built-for-summer synth pop anthem, Teen Witch (prod. Ariel Rechtshaid), she decided to show up to The Today Show for a revolutionary performance of the song itself along with a brief ten minute interview and a stellar, legendary one and a half minute performance of another untitled future smash that she is planning on putting on her new album. Sky Ferreira definitely earned an abundance of new fans both young and old from this surprise performance, and she proved she is not playing any games this time around.
The performance started with Ferreira's backing band coming out, playing a slowed down, acoustic version of the introduction to Teen Witch, gradually getting faster and louder as the seconds went on until it was finally up to the same tempo as the studio recording of the song. That very moment, Sky came down wearing a cute long sleeved white shirt with a blue schoolgirl skirt shout-singing the lyrics 'Supreme bitch, teen witch!' as a plethora of pink, blue, and purple lasers flashed behind her into the crowd. By the time the second chorus came around, every single person in the crowd was dancing and singing along to every word of the track. Even Sky herself was getting more and more into the song, swinging her skirt around to the beat and flipping her newly bleached platinum blonde locks back and forth repetitively. She started to unbutton her shirt during the second verse to rip it off, throw it into the crowd for a lucky fan to catch, and unveil a stylish Urban Outfitters crop top with a vibrant lime green, turquoise, and yellow aztec print. She then jumped into the crowd to take selfies with fans as she was singing. During the outro (the third chorus), the smoke machines were activated, covering Sky herself, her backing band, and her accompanying vocalists in a grey cloud.
Once you could not see them at all anymore, the band started a different, even more uptempo tune. The clouds faded away and Sky was wearing a completely new ensemble: a ponytail with a bow an almost blinding shade of pink, a cute black, white, and pink dress custom made for her by none other than Donatella Versace, and 3 inch stiletto boots that went up to her thighs. She started cooing the words "I'm a firecracker, feel the blitz, just how I sparkle!" as she danced around the stage and played with her long Iggy Azalea-esque ponytail before disappearing backstage with her band and back-up singers. The crowd instantly applauded, screaming her name at the top of their lungs, craving more of the unknown song she had just performed. After the crew on The Today Show cleaned the stage up, she strutted back out, waving and blowing kisses to the fans, for a brief interview with the host.
Q: That was such a spectacular performance! It was so different from anything we've previously seen from you. How would you describe this era?
A: Thanks, haha! It's such an honor to be performing here. I'd say it's all all about living life up to the fullest, having fun, and not looking back on the past and things you cannot change. The visuals are going to be super bright, colorful, and so summery! I just love it all.
Q: Have you already filmed the video for Teen Witch? How does it compare to the other videos you have released already?
A: Of course I have! Grant Singer is the director of it as he is with all of my other music videos, but it's something totally different from both of us. He usually does more dark, dull colors, as did I, so it was kind of strange seeing all these pinks and blues and yellows. I honestly think it is one of my favorite music video I've filmed. It was so much fun filming it too; a few of my friends that you guys all know and love made cameos in it.
Q: So, after you performed Teen Witch, you did a little bit of a new song. Can you give us any information on what that was all about? We loved it!
A: It was a song on my new album obviously, and I'm hoping I get to release it as a single soon since I love it so so much! I just need to put the finishing touches on it and I'd love to get a collaboration on it. I already have a few vocalists in mind but my record label needs to talk things out with their other label before I can make it happen.
Q: Do you have any big endorsements coming that we should look out for?
A: I have some deals with companies. They're gonna use my songs in commercials, play them once every hour in stores, and other sht like that you know. I'm also going to possibly be the face of another company, but I don't know for sure yet so just take this with a grain of salt! It's a clothing store, that's all I can say.
Q: Have you ever thought of releasing your own fashion line or doing a line of cosmetics like make-up, nail polish, or perfume?
A: Yes with the fashion line actually! I don't like doing cosmetics; it's not really me as you can tell. I hardly ever wear any make-up, haha! I'm not about being all glamorous and fabulous like that, I want the attention to be on my music and my clothes more than my beauty.
Q: I'm sure a lot of your male fans want to know... are you currently in a relationship or did you and Cole Smith break up?
A: No, we haven't broken up, but we are kind of taking a break from each other for a while if that makes sense. If we don't get back together after it, whatever, it was meant to happen, but if we do, that would be great! You just have to live your life and not stress about the little thing which is what my album is all about. I'm not going to give a **** about pleasing people with anything I do now! It's all about myself.
Q: One last question before we let you head off: when will we be able to see more of you on television? We love seeing you perform! You just bring such a positive energy into whatever room you walk into!
A: First of all, aw, thank you so much! Hearing how happy I make people makes me so happy and love what I do even more. You will be seeing me a lot more on television soon. This is just the start of the Sky Ferreira world takeover! Haha! No, but really, I will stop trying to prevent myself from being in the public eye. I feel bad for, in a way, neglecting my fans by making sure nothing I do gets on the news.
Q: Thank you for stopping by here today! We're such huge fans and can't wait for whatever you have in store!
A: It was a pleasure to be here. Thank you again! Bye!
Before getting into her car, Sky met with some of her fans waiting eagerly outside of The Today Show set, taking selfies with them and signing their things.

RITA VISITS Y100 + TALKS AZEALIA, OPENING FOR BRITNEY SPEARS + PERFORMS 'LOSING ME' A CAPELLA
Rita showed up to Y100 in Moschino spring summer couture, and a Dior bandana. As her car pulled up, she wound down her window to wave to fans. She hoped off, and walked towards the Y100 greeting fans and posing for pictures along the way. She finally arrived in the studio and sat down for the interview with Host Augustus Waters.
Welcome to Y100 Miami, Rita! It's great to have you on the show with us today.
Thank you for having me Auggie, can i call you that? *laughs*
You can call me whatever you like, Rita. So congratulations on your new single 'Losing Me' being number one on iTunes. What does this accomplishment mean to you?
Oh my, I don't even know if I can properly express the feeling in words. It feels amazing. Music is one of my favorite things to do and to have my music so well received is a dream come true.
Congratulations again! By the way listeners Rita will be performing her new single at the end of this interview, and it's going to be a special version, so be sure to not touch that dial! So now that your new single is out, what's next for you?
Well I have a bunch of shows that I will be performing 'Losing Me' at, and I'll be on Good Morning America tomorrow, and I'll be flying to Japan on Thursday. I have my album scheduled to be released two weeks from now. I will have a surprise for all the #RITARDS out there tomorrow on GMA, so don't miss it. After dropping my album, I will be going on tour.
Wow, you are one busy girl! Speaking of touring, I heard that you will be opening for THE Britney Spears. Is that true?
Yes! I met with Britney a couple of months ago, and she offered me a spot on her tour and there was no way I could pass up such an opportunity. So I will be embarking on a sold-out stadium tour with her very soon.
Wow! On the topic of other celebrities, you seem to have a somewhat unhealthy relationship with Azealia. Can you let us in on some details about that?
Yeah, I honestly don't know what provoked this but I think she sees me as a threat. And why wouldn't she? I managed to beat out her second single on the iTunes charts, so I guess she should be mad. But I'm over her, I have bigger concerns to worry about.
Who doesn't? *laughs* So you have one celebrity enemy, who in the business do you like?
I absolutely adore Charli XCX. Her new single has been on repeat for DAYS, and I'd love to collab with her sometime in the future. I can tell you now, that her new album will be amazing. She shared some of her demos with me, and from the little I heard it's going to be everywhere.
Without further adieu, here is 'Losing Me' a capella!
Rita began humming to the tune of the intro synths and swayed side-to-side. She drummed the percussion bit on the table. After humming the intro, she started singing.
After me, it’s all downhill
Baby, I won't even shed a tear
You put me down for all this time
And now you're gone, i'll finally shiiiiiiine
I won’t cry or lose sleep
You’re not worth it
It’ll be you coming to beg
You’ll regret losing me
Baby,
It's all downhill
From meeeeeeeeee
Rita held out the 'me' for a couple seconds and slow her voice faded into silence. Then a huge smiles breaks through her calm composure.
Wow!! There you have it folks! That was Rita Ora's new single 'Losing Me' a cappella. You can buy the full version now on iTunes. Thank you for coming on the show, Rita!
No, thank you Auggie. I've loved your radio show for years and being able to talk with you is amazing.
I'm glad you had fun. Hope to have you on here again sometime soon.

Sky Ferreira partners with Forever 21
Festival season is in, and Forever 21 is thrilled to announce the face of their 2014 'Summer Festival' collection: The illustrious 22-year-old recording artist, Sky Ferreira! The items featured in this brand new, trendy line range from tropical print maxi dresses to boldly colored crop tops and even must-have sheer pieces! Don't miss out on snagging a few irresistible garments before they're all gone (various clothing items have limited stock) to make your friends envious of your chic, hip style this summer! We spoke to Ms. Sky Ferreira herself during the photoshoot for the campaign at The Saguaro in Palm Springs, California for the latest details on her juicy life, her new album, and her new single which we all know and love: Teen Witch!
Q: Thanks for agreeing to join us here at Forever 21 to help promote this amazing, gorgeous new line! What would you say your favorite piece or pieces in the collection are?
A: Oh, it's my pleasure. I've worn your clothes since I can even remember; it's such a dream come true to be able to be the face of one of the Summer Festival collection! Hm, I'd have to say my favorite piece would have to be the dip-dye denim bustier crop top. It's so comfortable, so beautiful, and just so me! I love everything though; the bright colors and eye-popping patterns are stunning. I can't take my eyes off of them, haha!
Q: Speaking of bright colors and eye-popping patterns, your performance recently on The Today Show was full of them! Let's talk about that. How was your first time performing on there?! How was the crowd? Tell us!
A: The performance was way too much fun! The crowd was one of the best crowds I've ever had. They were so high energy, and they already knew all of the words to the chorus of Teen Witch by the time the second chorus rolled around! I just had to give them an extra treat at the end which is why I performed a snippet of another song and did a quick little interview. Why can't all audiences be like that?!
Q: We know you recently released a new single called 'Teen Witch' off of your upcoming album. What was your main inspiration for that song?
A: That's funny that you would ask that! As odd as it sounds, I was actually inspired by the vibe I get when I walk into a Forever 21. Don't laugh, I'm being serious! All of your stores that I have been in are just so positive and happy and I love it! Everybody is gossiping and laughing, the music is so lively, and the clothes are so colorful. I tried to channel that feeling in all of the songs I've recorded for my new album, and I hope you think I captured it well!
Q: You definitely did, Sky! Can you give us the name of at least one other song on your album please? We absolutely cannot wait for it and we know our readers can't either!
A: I guess it wouldn't hurt to reveal another song title. One of the songs is called 'Loaded Gun' and it's probably one of my top three favorites on the album. I took a couple lines from one of my older songs, Dynamite State, for the chorus, so my fans who have stuck with me through the years will probably die of nostalgia when they hear it! It's a mid-tempo song produced by Diplo with a bit of inspiration from Bad Girls by M.I.A..
Q: It sounds flawless already! Going back to the topic of Teen Witch, what was your inspiration for the music video? When can we expect to see it?
A: I don't want to be a bragger, but it definitely is an immaculate track! My inspiration for it was definitely this one party I went to in the summer last year. The house was in a cute neighborhood in Los Angeles on the beach, and everybody was getting extremely drunk and having more fun than they've probably ever had in their whole lives. You can expect to see it in... maybe a couple days? It's all done, I'm just waiting for the 'okay' to release it on my VEVO.
Q: Lastly, what festivals are you looking forward to this summer?
A: Lollapalooza, Pitchfork, and T In The Park!
The advertisement for the collection will be revealed tonight, and it will be featuring none other than Sky Ferreira's hit new song, 'Teen Witch'! Look for the new clothes in Forever 21s near you starting tomorrow!
