Trip Switch is great. I love how they cam do a harder song like Trip Switch and then do a more brooding song like Emergency.

I liked Used To Love You, Dead Inside, and Loud Places this year also

I didn't see any of the movies.

My new years resolution might have to be to stay up to date with those.

"Hold Back the River"

This was one of the very first new songs that I liked this year, I remember I saw him topping many lists of the most promising artists of 2015. As the time passed I've seen many people here underestimating him and calling him "another one-hit wonder WGWG", and yeah while his international success might actually be confined to this song alone I think he has more to offer if he was given the chance.

"FourFiveSeconds"

It's sort of strange to see Rihanna charting this high in one of my lists especially after how much I openly hated all of her red-wig singles which are widely considered as part of her magnum opus era. Whether you like it or hate it this song can't really be compared to the rest of her discography, it's a rarity, it jumps out of the page. And yeah she's not the best vocalist and she probably didn't write this song but at least she's letting us see this vulnerable stripped down version of herself that we had lost sight of so many years ago.

"First"

I really can't say much about this band because this is literally the first song of theirs that I listened to, but as far as I know it's one of the best alternative songs of the year. I'm in love with the way it's written the lyrics are genious and the chorus just gives me life it's instantly recognizable. I listened to their album and I liked it so I'll be checking for the next one for sure.

"Champagne Kisses"

Seems like the 80s are making a slow but steady return to mainstream pop culture these days, if you don't believe me just watch this music video which is also one of my favorite of the year. For the longest time I slept on Jessie Ware's music, I honestly took her as another Lana del Rey copycat which isn't precisely a bad thing but it's getting tired. This song, however, took me by surprise, it really takes you higher, very hard to describe. I recently listened to her album and I found it surprisingly great with this song actually being my favorite track.

The Weeknd
"Can't Feel My Face"

Let us be honest The Weeknd is trying extra hard to be this generation's Michael Jackson. That's really a long shot for someone with such a young career and it will probably never happen but as far as Michael Jackson wannabes go The Weeknd is definitely the best (sorry Bruno, you would never). There's something edgy about his voice, looks and personality it's no surprise he blew up so fast. This song served its purpose as a quick Max Martin produced #1 hit and in my opinion it's the best single he released this year.

You close to being done. Here I go with catch up. Runnin' (Lose It All) is a nice one. Surprised that Naughty Boy can get someone like Beyoncé on this track. High by the Beach is nice, I’m really enjoy In the Night right now, Take Me to Church is too low for me even in 2015, RIP to My Youth is a song I wish I listen to earlier because it’s a damn good one, I really liked Gold a lot earlier in the year, but doesn’t compare to ID older songs. Different Colors is not bad. Good to see Janet back.

Top 150! My faves from the 101-150 range are Nothing Really Matters, Someone New, I Am, Hotline Bling (surprised this one here), Smoke Break, Firestone, Nobody Love, The Less I Know the Better, WTF, and Die a Happy Man. Props to I’m Not the Only One and Waves still on this countdown.

Top 100! I enjoy Cheerleader and it’s a really fun song. Too bad for ATRL on hating it. Actually, I’m surprised that you like this. Roots is fine, it’s just not exciting as their other songs, Fire Meets Gasoline is one my favorite Sia songs this year. I like Leave a Trace. I enjoyed Sam Hunt’s music this year and Take Your Time is at a great spot. Brandon Flowers is another one that I enjoy music from, but not as much as a certain member. Invincible is actually a nice and decent from Kelly. I’m not feeling her latest music lately. Surprised to see In Your Arms here. I really enjoyed that song last year, but too bad Nico & Vinz are still one hit wonder since that song wasn’t a hit. Renegades, Alive, Every Breaking Wave, Beautiful Now, Heroes, Nightlight, Feet Don’t Fail Me Now, I Bet My Life, Déjà vu, Bloodstream (I wasn’t feeling the Rudimental remix that much tho), Something in the Water, Lay It All On Me, and Girl Crush are all the rest of 100-51 range that I know and like.

Top 50! Nothing Without an Elastic Heart a Drum that is Stressed Out from Thinking Out Loud, which the Mess is Earned Under The Shade. Let’s have some Body Talk in Loud Places. The Hills Used to Love You, but now they’re Dead Inside. Shots! And Trip Switch.

This set. Hold Back the River is a nice song, 45s is out of Rihanna’s comfort zone, but I really enjoy it. I never gotten around to hear First. Oh, well. Really glad you got into Jessie Ware. She’s amazing. Ha! The Weeknd a MJ wannabe. Regardless, I enjoy all the new music he released this year. Can’t Feel My Face is one of my favorite songs this year. Can't decide which The Weeknd song I like the most. Great Best of so far. Really like a lot of songs from this one. Wish I comment earlier so I don't have type as much, but you know me.
