She has the Grammy's in February, where I'm 95% sure she'll perform (even it that's not confirmed yet, it's a bit early). If the follow-up songs are good, it's possible. However Uptown Funk was unstoppable and its sales suddenly slacked off, so I can't be sure she'll get Diamond within 29 weeks. We'll wait and see and watch 25 closely.
The reason behind my uncertainty is this -- I had thought UF would have 7.15 by the year's end in July as it sold solidly for more than 8 months, but now that looks closer to 6.75-6.8 million. UF should've won the two AMAs it was nominated for, since they are supposed to go to the biggest songs. That didn't happen, and there was no real boost from the VMAs (though there may be a boost from Soul Train). UF will still get to 7.5 and probably eventually 8 million, but it's going to take longer than I had hoped and expected.
Right now there must be at least a thousand people mentioning Adele in real life. Or .. ?
