IDK. It's just a topic that people need to stop picking and choosing about.

Seriously, I don't give a flying **** WHAT a person's race, sexuality, WHATEVER is. There is never, ever,
ever an acceptable time for anyone to use skirts like the N-Word, F-Word, or ANY other kind. It's stupid that this is even a debate. And don't give me the "taking away its power" bull**** either, because you know as well as I do that's not actually taking away its power. All that the repeated use of ethnic slurs does is allow vile, horrible words to live on in modern day pop culture when they should've been left behind decades ago at the very least (or better yet, never created. Ever)
Normally I don't get involved in racism debates on ATRL cause 90-100% of the people involved are utter morons, but I feel insanely strongly about using slurs like that soooo... Yeah.
Now for this next bit, I want to be clear I am using the
dictionary definition of racism. For those unclear of how the dictionary defines racism, I will post it for you.
Quote:
the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

On the topic of racism of Azealia's tweet, "white girl" isn't inherently racist. Neither is "black girl" or "Asian girl" or "Purple girl." That said, I think any of them can be used in a racist, prejudiced way by a racist individual to demean someone for their race. For example, saying "What's that black girl's name?" while watching a movie isn't racist. It's like saying "What's the jock's name?" or "What's the girl in glasses' name?" It's being used to easily identify who you're talking about. No judgment is being passed on said attribute. On the other hand, Azealia has often come across as an individual who is both racist and homophobic, and her use of "white girl" in this situation was done to make Iggy seem inferior to her on race. She wasn't using it I a non-judgmental identifying way, she was using it in a derogatory way to insult Iggy.
It would be just as racist as well if the tables were flipped. If Iggy was saying "LAWD help this silly black girl" it would also be racist since, again, it's being used in a way trying to imply someone is a subpar human being because of his or her race.
Also, under this widely accepted definition, racism against all races can exist. If you don't like it, take it up with the damn dictionary because I sure as **** didn't write it
