I agree with MISTAH TIBBITS, I really think that the system is flawed. Albums from pre-2008 shouldn't make it onto a list of albums for the year 2008. As much as I love the fact that Paramore is so high, that album is a 2007 album. Maybe next year, you can still count albums from 2007 or 2008 toward the monthly lists, but limit the year-ender to 2009-only albums?
I mean, if people prefer the format to stay the way it is for next year's top 50, that's fine, but I'll think that the system is flawed then, too.

So are you implying that the Grammys eligibility system is flawed, too?
If I make it for Jan - Dec releases, the Oct - Dec releases would obviously get SCREWED, because they will barely chart in this year's, and according to your system, they won't chart for the next year. That's not fair at all. My system is PERFECTION. It's just like the billboard's year-end albums chart, switching the sales for points that the albums gain within the year.
Taylor Swift's 2006 release still made it for the 2008 year-end chart, right? Why? Because it sold more in 2008, and that's what I'm doing dawg.
Anymore bitching and your posts will be reported.
