Nice to see you place Kelly so high.
And Bloc Party meets Killers meets Justice? And a Klaxons reference? I need to check those guys out.

NG Presents: Top 20 Albums of 2007 (Part VII): Close Call Albums
NG Presents: Top 20 Albums of 2007 (Part VII): Close Call Albums
Before getting into the top 2 albums here are the 14 albums that missed my top 20 albums of 2007.
Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero
+ Best Tracks: Me, I'm Not, Vessel, Capital G, The Good Soldier, Survavilism +
- This album would have made my top 20 list if I listened to it more often.
Feist - The Reminder
+ Best Tracks: Sealion, 1234, My Moon My Man, I Feel It All, Brandy Alexander +
- I find it quite boring until this album grew fond of me, and it's amazing. ****ing "Sealion" pwned.
Peter Bjorn and John - Writer's Block
+ Best Tracks: Young Folks, The Chills, Let's Call It Off, Paris 2004, Amsterdam +
- Great indie album from these guys. I love Young Folks, The Chills & Let's Call It Off. Greatness all around.
Lupe Fiasco - The Cool
+ Best Tracks: Paris, Tokyo, Hip-Hop Saved My Life, Go Go Gadget Flow, Hello/Goodbye, Superstar +
- As we all know, "The Cool" was just released so it's not really fair to include it in the top 20.
Tegan and Sara - The Con
+ Best Tracks: Back In Your Head, Not a Plane, The Con, Relief Next To Me, Knife Going In +
- I heard "Back in Your Head" back in September and I like it so I give this album a try, and not bad at all!
Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape
+ Best Tracks: Early Winter, 4 In The Morning, Wonderful Life, The Sweet Escape (Feat. Akon), Yummy (Feat. Pharrell) +
- The part I enjoyed most from this album are the ballads unlike her first solo album, which were more energetic and fun to listen to.
Katharine McPhee - Katharine McPhee
+ Best Tracks: Open Toes, Do What You Do, Neglected, Love Story, Dangerous +
- I really like this album at the beginning of the year until I got sick of it. The best tracks I mentioned are Katharine at her best.
Radiohead - In Rainbows
+ Best Tracks: 15 Step, Bodysnatchers, Nude, All I Need, Videotape +
- This album is amazing. The other day I went to Best Buy, and everyone was hogging to buy this album. Crazy ****.
Hilary Duff - Dignity
+ Best Tracks: Stranger, Dignity, No Work All Play, Gypsy Woman, With Love +
- Little Hilary Duff is all grown up, and this album proved that she got chops to make a fun dance album. Tracks like Stranger and Gypsy Woman are really energetic. A huge surprise for me.
Common - Finding Forever
+ Best Tracks: I Want You, Break My Heart, Southside (Feat. Kanye West), Drivin' Me Wild (Feat. Lily Allen), The People +
- Not my favorite Common album, but still has some potential tracks like I Want You and Southside.
New Young Pony Club - Fantastic Playroom
+ Best Tracks: The Bomb, Get Lucky, Hiding On The Staircase, Ice Cream, The Get Go +
- "The Bomb" is such an awesome track, which led me to download the album and I'm happy that I did.
Elliott Yamin - Elliott Yamin
+ Best Tracks: Wait For You, One Word, Movin' On, Trainwreck, A Song For You +
- I did not expect much from this album since usually the third runner-up are going nowhere, but boy I was wrong. His self-titled album is filled with good ballads like Wait For You and Trainwreck.
The Hives - The Black and White Album
+ Best Tracks: Try It Again, Well All Right!, T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S., Tick Tick Boom, Won't Be Long +
- This is another fun album from The Hives. I can't stop playing "Try It Again" since the song is so frickin' catchy.
Britney Spears - Blackout
+ Best Tracks: Toy Soldier, Piece of Me, Why Should I Be Sad, Radar, Hot As Ice +
- Yes. I like Britney Spears album just like everyone else. It's a good dance album and I love "Piece of Me". And that's it, bitch.
More update on the single list tonight! Oh, and Happy New Year to everyone!

Blackout=awesome.
Dignity and Great Escape are sort of the opposite of each other: shows improvement as an artist, and shows...backsliding(?) as an artist. I think there are five songs on Gwen's first album that I like better than all of the songs on her second.
