For those of who you who have been to LA and NYC, which would you say is better overall?
It all depends on preference. I like visiting NYC but I wouldn't like to live there, whereas I find the opposite living in LA, I'd rather live here and know the area rather than visit because the city is too sprawled out to know what to do and how to get around as a tourist.

NYC is pretty spread out. It's spread out over three main islands, except for the Bronx.

But as a tourist most people spend 95% of their time in Manhattan, with a standard trip to Liberty Island. Just my experience of visiting anyway. LA on the other hand was clearly designed by an 8 year old who decided to put everything all over the place and connect them with roads that can't handle half the volume of traffic they get.
Yeah other than stalk Beyonce celebrities and shop, what is there to do?
There's actually a lot to do in NYC. The tourists just think there's Times Square and The State of Liberty and that's their lost. Because they go to Applesbees when it's all done too.
Going to an outer borough, eating at a actual New York restaurant, and walking around really. Because when you walk you find something new everytime. I still did new things to do every time.
Niagara Falls ny here.... Come see the falls and this dump city!
About an hour and 15 south from there
close to the Pennsylvania border
Loved where I grew up even though it was a small town, but in two years, once I'm finished with my undergraduate, I will be in NYC. I'm already saving up my coins.
