I've been a Ciara fan since I was 14 and I liked her first and second albums. Third album Fantasy Ride was brilliant and I love the idea of the 3-disc concept album that she was trying to do. I personally wished that her label would try to release the project in different formats.
Format 1) 3-disc (original idea)
Format 2) Condensed 1-disc album (chosen idea)
Format 3) Vol 1/2/3 idea like Robyn's Body Talk EP's
She had fantastic material but they were under-promoted and that could've been her best album and most successful to date.
Basic Instinct (Album 4):
I liked Ride and the video was sexy and appealing to watch. The video didn't get blocked because it was too sexual, there have been more sexual videos shown. Chances are, someone / some people high-up, powerful people got the video to be blocked / blacklisted.
Gimme Dat video was Ciara funded herself was her best and the dancing was amazing. I thought the video was iconic and memorable. It'a a shame that her label didn't support her. Turn It Up Feat. Usher was a good song and she could have had at least 2-3 hits from this album.
One Woman Army:
All the songs I have heard have been fantastic. I love Overdose, Livin It Up and Got Me Good. Sorry wasn't a good choice for lead single IMO but I thought GMG would've saved the era. I really like Livin It Up and would be happy with it being the next single.
Boy Outta Here is really good and should be released to Urban Radio asap and having Rick Ross as the feature would be a good idea. I can't wait for the album and I hope this era does well, as I can't see Ci-ci having anymore chances.
I agree but am avoiding delusion I love the song. It's classic CiCi and a crossover jam. Plus "my back's achin' my bra too tight" is literally iconic potential. People would love this song.

OMG ikr! It could've been her biggest hit to date.
