In my country something very similar happened, but it was a girl that supposedly killed her boyfriend but there is no proof, she basically is famous now and a fashion designer invited her to model and things like that
yes to a certain extent. she got plenty of people interested back into female rap and she's doing extremely well as a female rapper and she's constantly breaking a record that may not even pertain to female rappers but musical artists in general
yes. she is giving some dude rappers a run for their money (see Monster verse) which isn't seen that often. her beef with lil kim has overshadowed that, and it is a damn shame.
