I find it hard to believe that Christina is the reason or mainly the reason for the success of MLJ considering how irrelevant she has been in recent history, especially compared to Maroon 5. And like Rico pointed out, her fans didn't seem desperate enough to get her own hits at #1. That would be a much bigger achievement for Christina and her fans. The song is doing well because it's "good," and The Voice was a great platform for both Adam and Christina.

How could somebody who shows for all of 15 seconds at the end of a song be the main reason it's a hit? That makes absolutely no sense to me.
Who cares if somebody is "irrelevant"? Does that really matter when it comes to quality of the music? LMFAO are relevant and they're complete ****. I'd rather stay listening to Fefe Dobson or Evan and Jaron.
