You know the thing I can't understand is that last week Shut Up and Drive wasn't even on-deck and Umbrella was at #4 in the TOP 5! Shut Up and Drive shouldn't have debuted for 2 reasons: it wasn't On-Deck and Umbrella was still safe in the top 5. This is making it hard to watch TRL I tell you!

I agree that it's stupid for Umbrella to fall off, but there is a reason why Shut Up And Drive wasn't on deck. If an artist has two songs eligible for voting at one time, the one with the most votes will have their votes counted. It's very possible that Shut Up And Drive could have been at #15, and Umbrella could have dropped to #9 or so, but since Umbrella had more votes, Shut Up And Drive didn't count.
