That must be really frustrating and I think it's also a bit childish. I mean, if I loved my man I wouldn't care to be photographed by paparazzi and be on gossip magazines.
But that's their choice and I will respect it as it is.

Yeah my main feeling is concern, I mean he came out but this way he's still not really "free". I just want him to be happy. But he says he's happy and he does look very happy, so if this arrangement is working out for him, then I don't mind if we never find out anything about his partner.

I think I'd only be critical if he's doing it to keep giving off this asexual vibe. Homosexuality is much more confronting if you actually see two men together rather than one simply saying "I'm gay". So this way it's safer and Italians in general aren't turned off as much. Could also be the reason why his videos this era are so boring, straight and sterile.

Anyway, I really don't believe that he's still putting his career goals ahead of his personal happiness, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. EMI and his manager could also still be exercising a lot of control over his public image.

I normally don't remember my dreams but I woke up with Smeraldo in my head and lingering images of the video, it wasn't really clear but I know it had him arguing with some guy and running off, and there was like dancing on the beach, a kind of summer party with the emerald sun in the background, and then him waking up alone and smiling. IDK what it was but it was perfect. Too bad it will always be nothing but a dream

I had to rewatch Collide cause I barely remember it but yeah something like that

He makes too many good songs, there will always be smashes-that-never-were, it's inevitable. I've been listening to RR a lot more recently, I think I really underrate this album in my mind. Other than Soul-dier every song is so good. Maybe I'm becoming too much of a stan.

Fotografie Della Tua Assenza though? It's amazing but it would've needed a radio edit and that could've ruined it.

It's a really good album though and I actually like it in its entirety... not as much as Alla Mia Età e L'Amore E' Una Cosa Semplice but more than Nessuno E' Solo and maybe 111 (even though the upbeat songs in 111 are fire, especially for italian music).

I don't think he would've need a radio edit, Italy is so here for Tiziano that he could've covered the entire Abbey Road Medley and they would've played it in its entire length

No no I am not here for Nicki.

At this point I can't really choose between 111 and RR, the same way I can't choose between NES/AME/Amore. I only know I love the last three more than the first two. It's really annoying cause I'm always obsessed with ranking stuff but I have to make peace with not being able to do it.

Per Dirti Ciao is not really burning up iTunes like I hoped it would, but hopefully the album is in the top 10 again this week. Radio is playing it a lot, but like you said that's a given.
