Why is J-pop so uneventful rn. Meisa NEEDS to comeback and save this tumbling industry from all the dullness.
I wouldn't say it's uneventful seeing as we just got Jasmine's album (so many bops it deserved to slay) and LEVEL3. Kuu's single is out next month too. But yes, Queen Meisa needs her comeback ASAP
GTTT was an anime OP and was released in a slow-ish week right before the holiday rush. Also it was her first single after having the baby and people might have been more interested than normal.
still super random to me that GTTT went #1 but not Koishikute-sus.

Koishikute was up against AKB48 and a lot of other idol groups that week/month, but it did go #1 on Recochoku iirc
