Well I've mixed feelings about it... Taylor has nothing to apologize for, Nicki should do it instead of pulling race card. But Taylor's apologies made Katy seem pressed and Nicki seem messy. Also it stopped Nicki getting media attention that she always wants so badly. I believe this is not a last word from Taylor Nation.

If you are a taylor fan, then you have nothing to be upset about. How does this make her look bad? I think some are struggling to see the bigger picture. Taylor is at the top...that's not going to be impacted by this. The best thing she could do is come out winning with the swift reads and end up winning looking like the bigger person.

Do you really think Nicki stated anything that hasn't already been known about the industry? Will the industry change because of the anaconda video?
I think we'll get a couple of photo op/PR stunt moments at the VMAs and the people that were winning will continue to win in the bigger categories.
I don't expect to see a reversal where majority are the minority in the categories for future shows.

You don't actually think things are going to change in the world because of a "snubbed anaconda nomination." On top of that, Taylor shaded, showed her power inviting her to come on stage and then showed she was a mature person.

There are enough people that are aware of what the "fight" over the VMA noms truly represents.

The only reason Taylor apologized was to save face after she was rightfully called out by multiple people. Had she stayed out of it in the first place she wouldn't have to look like she has no backbone.

Taylor screwed up with that "pitting women against each other" quip. That said, I'm a black woman, and I too thought Nicki was taking a shot at Taylor when I first that "slender women" tweet. So I can't be mad that Taylor thought the same.
