Nowhere near close.
The 5S has a 64 bit architecture. Meaning it will perform and run apps better than other phones.
You can have a quad core computer on a 32 bit architecture and a computer with a dual core with a 64 bit architecture and the dual core computer will run faster.

Just based on this alone I might consider the 5S. I have the money.
But the Jolla phone sounds so much better but I'm not sure anymore.
My Galaxy Note 2 just isn't what I paid for.
