I would like the see what the US would do if hundreds of rockets were launched it's way. And how different your reactions would be.

It's really sad, but it's not from Gaza as mentioned in the comment section of the video, it's from Syria, Aleppo. So before you blame Israel, and use false information to mislead people, trying to attack me personally with a mean comment, check yourself.

(Ismael Mohamad / United Press International) Medical workers killed, injured as Israel targets Gaza health infrastructure
“The Israelis are using a wide variety of sophisticated modern weapons against a basically naked civilian population,” said renowned Norwegian doctor Mads Gilbert in a phone interview with The Electronic Intifada on Tuesday, 22 July.
“This is state terrorism at a very sophisticated and very high level,” he added.
Speaking over the phone from al-Shifa hospital where he is helping to treat the wounded, Gilbert described the horrors he has witnessed in Gaza in recent days as the bodies of mostly Palestinian women and children are brought to the hopsital torn to shreds by an Israeli arsenal deliberately aimed at civilians.
Israel has bombed at least 25 health care facilities, killing and injuring several medical workers, said Gilbert, whose repeated appeals for the UN to step in and protect Palestinian hospitals from Israeli attacks that clearly violate international law have been resulted in meaningful action on the ground.
“What would have happened if Palestinian fighters had bombed an Israeli hospital and killed five patients?” Gilbert commented. “The world would have turned upside down. What is this second-hand, or even third-hand or fourth-hand citizenship in the world for the Palestinians?”
-----
You are filth if you think these bodies are human shields. You fit 1.8 million people into a strip of land the size of Rhode Island, you are BOUND to hurt civlians, especially women and children who have nothing to do with Hamas. You have countries backing you up but you can't afford to do an intelligent ground filtration and strike Hamas members individually in these places, but instead you strike an ENTIRE INFRASTRUCTURE needed for the aid of civilians?
There is a goddamn limit to the amount of pride you can have in your country. Your brain is not functioning if you think this is the right thing to do.
We won't repeat ourselves again either but for once, for your brain's sake, we will. Israel has FULL right to defend, but the METHOD in which they are doing it is violating tens of international laws, goes against mankind and humanity, and is DISPROPORTIONAL to the threat they are receiving.
And sending rockets to bomb houses, Israeli citizens is fine? why are keep showing a one sided picture? not Israel started this, but the Hamas, and it's all his fault. Hiding themselves, their rockets and weapons in schools, hospitals and children gardens, putting their armory, rocket launchers launching near shelters in order to get the images they want to show, that's wrong, not the Israeli actions.

We DO NOT kill women and children. PERIOD. This is not side-casualty. This is a war ON Palestinian children.
That's what they make you think... this is what they want to show, and they are using their citizens in order to do so.
I don't know what to think about this anymore. I support the Israeli people that live in Israel. I don't think that the idea of "all Israeli should leave Israel cuz it's not their country" makes any sense. It's not gonna happen. I support the Palestinians in the gaza strip too. And I can't support the Israeli army anymore.
This is just disgusting and has nothing to do with defending the own people. Of course, what the hamas does is wrong (and it was wrong even before that whole thing with Israel. The Palestinians have no future with the hamas) but Israel is obviously in the 'better' position when it comes to weapons and stuff. Israel shouldn't have invaded the gaza strip in the first place. They should've worked with the UN on a ceasefire plan. I also don't get how the Israeli army is telling the people that they should leave their houses, yet they made a big wall between the gaza strip and Israel. So, where are the Palestinians supposed to go? Israel needs to open that wall and let the people in. Of course not uncontrolled but they should help the Palestinian people. Instead of their just bombing the hell out of the gaza strip and it seems like they don't even know what they're doing anymore. It's sad. People are dying, Jews are getting all the hate in Europe and the politicians from Israel are just putting more oil to the fire. Don't get me wrong. I'm not supporting the hamas either. But I can't support the Israel politicians either. They are both horrible.
Just a little question, what is the 'thing' about, that the UN countries voted for?

The "thing" is the right of Israel to exist on it's land. There's only one side right in this debate, and it's the one with answers. If the land is "Plaestine", Give me true sources for a country called Palestine, if there was such a country, how would you answer these questions:
Quote:
If you consider Palestine to be a "Sovereign" and "Independent" country that goes back through most of recorded history as many would have you to believe, then a few questions need to be answered:
When was it founded and by whom?
What were its borders?
What was its capital?
Who was the President?
What was its form of government?
What were its major cities?
What constituted the basis of its economy?
Who was the Palestinian leader before Yasser Arafat?
Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or now, leaves no room for interpretation?
What was the language of the country of Palestine?
What was the prevalent religion of the country of Palestine?
What was the name of its currency and what was the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian monetary unit against the US dollar, German mark, GB pound, or Japanese yen on any particular date?
And, finally, since there is no such country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur?
If these so-called "Palestinians" are anything but a generic collection of Arabs from all over the rest of the Arab world and if they really have a genuine ethnic identity that gives them right for self-determination, then why did they never try to become an independent and sovereign nation until Arabs suffered their devastating defeat in the Six Day War in 1967?
Be sure to read the myths they use and the answer for each one:
Quote:
The "Palestinian People" have an historic connection to the land.
This is very interesting since there is no such thing as a "Palestinian People". When the Romans changed the name of Israel to Palestine, the people living there at the time were Jews, not Arabs. If there had been a "Palestinian People", which there never was, they would have been Jews.
The Palestinian People have been in the land from time immemorial.
For centuries pre-Israel Palestine was a forgotten, desolate wasteland inhabited by a remnant of Jews, along with some Christians and wandering Bedouins who certainly had no thought of a national identity of any kind.
There were no Jews in Palestine until Israel became a state in 1948.
The Romans officially banished the Jews from Israel (Palestine) in 135 CE. However, historical records show there was always a Jewish presence in the land. While many were scattered, other Jews simply moved out of harm's way until a less hostile power ruled the land. Jews were returning to what is now Israel well before 1948. Many left Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917.
Arabs and Jews lived in harmony before Israel became a state.
Throughout the centuries, Jews as well as Christians, living under Islamic rule suffered persecution and humiliation, the intensity of which was determined by the character of a particular Moslem ruler. As second-class citizens, there was never a "good time" for non-Muslims living under Islamic rule. Because of the way that most Islamic countries look down on non-Muslims, they are always considered second-class citizens and less than equal. Arabs have rarely lived in harmony with anyone if they were the majority.
The returning Jews displaced the Palestinian Arabs
The ancestors of most of the present-day Arab population migrated to the land after Jewish pioneers began to reclaim the land. They came from many different countries and were not original inhabitants of the land.
The Jews stole Arab land
Jews returning to the land settled on unclaimed, unoccupied land or bought land from absentee Arab landowners at outrageously high prices. This is a matter of record.
The Jews forced Arabs to flee Palestine
When Israel was declared a state in 1948, leaders from the surrounding Arab countries declared war on Israel and instructed the Arab civilians living in the land to flee until the Jews were annihilated. Israeli leaders, to no avail, urged the Arabs to stay. Property that they owned was abandoned.
The Jews caused the Arab refugee problem
If Arab countries would assimilate and care for the "Palestinian" refugees, as Israel did for their Jewish refugees, there would be no refugee problem. Instead they use the refugees as political pawns in their struggle against Israel. No Arab country that wants "Palestinian Arabs" in their country as they would rather use the "Palestinian Arabs" as pawns rather than assimilate them into their populations and bring peace to the Middle East.
Israel is the aggressor against defenseless Palestinians
In its brief history, Israel has had one war after another and each time they are blamed as the aggressor. The Arabs do not recognize the right of Israel to exist and are in a constant state of hostility against Israel. Their aim is to destroy Israel.
Jerusalem is holy to Muslims
While Jerusalem is mentioned over eight hundred times in the Bible, it is not mentioned one time in the Koran. Muslims have had little or no interest in Jerusalem until the Jewish presence in modern times.
Moreover, the source of Palestine is not the same source they use. Most of the claimed "Palestinians" are Arabs, when the real source of the world coming from the bible Philistines, which invaded Israel from the sea (and came from Greek, no connection to the so called Palestinians).

Whoever reported this post has a problem with accepting the truth and try to deny historical facts.

It's because a lot of people here want to hate Israel and do not want to accept certain facts that do not go along with the image of Israel they have in their minds.

No, that person is again derailing the topic, and the mods warned him/everyone in here not to do that again... Also, denying Palestine's existence is ignorant, there are thousands of records from back then that prove it did exist... Also, no one in here is saying Israel doesn't deserve a bit of land where they are now, they are arguing, rightfully so, that they don't deserve even half of the land they have now, cuz they claimed it through violence and settlements when there are legally binding agreements that that land belongs to the Palestinians. I see people claiming "They want to hate Israel", but that's ridiculous, people and even certain governments have just had enough off Israel's violent conquering of land that isn't their and their "they want to hate us" or "they are antisemetic" just because they actually say out loud they are going too far by what they are doing right now, killing and injuring thousands of Palestinians while invading their land

He is giving historical background of the conflict and/or discard the false accusation so he is not "derailing the topic".
I'm not going to repeat his whole post once again but when it comes to this:
Quote:

Remember that the Arab countries/the Palestinians refused to accept the plan of the partition of Palestine and started the war in 1948. And suddenly they seem to be so eager to follow the plan now, hmm I wonder why, maybe because they lost the war/wars?
And PS. Please don't act like the Palestinians are saint and the confict continues since this month. This conflict takes place for years and both sides have blood of their hands. This is war.

You have a lot of my sentiments.. I am trying to follow it, and I know there is an Israel side that many try to hide. but I do agree that Israel needs to stop, yet so does Palestine. It's very hard to solve this problem, but it should be so easy. Why does one need to have so much power and resources. Can't they just share it all?

If you really wanted to go that direction, we can always debate about the indigenous people that used to live there before; and how we should all move out because we are in their home land..
In the end, it's all about compromising and learning to live with one another in a peaceful and accepting way, which is what both palestine and israel needs to do. They need to ignore the few extremists from both sides, and focus on a compromisation. Maybe create 2 states 1 country.. or create 1 country entirely. idk eactly.. and they need to help one another with being equal.. sharing resources and helping one another live in a peaceful matter..
we as humans depend on one another to live, and thus it is completely ok for them to depend on one another. The hate blinds it all, and they just need to remove that
Israeli forces shelled a shelter at a U.N.-run school on Thursday, killing at least 15 people as the Palestinian death toll in the conflict climbed over 760 and attempts at a truce remained elusive.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed his horror at the attack on the school at Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza strip. "Many have been killed - including women and children, as well as U.N. staff," he said in a statement. "Circumstances are still unclear. I strongly condemn this act."
Apparently there was 30 killed in that UN school they bombed. How can anyone still justify this, it is just disgusting how they are murdering innocents on purpose and people still defend it

They use the line "Hamas is using them as shields so it's their fault". Even though Israel has used Palestinians as shields for years.
