Still better than performing for 9k and having a 96% sold out show, or grossing 800k, or performing for 4k people in a 14k capacity arena

Except the fact that this particular receipt is 100% mistaken, because there is no way the capacity could have been almost 17k, neither the fact that there were 2,5k tickets left, when the whole arena (including the newly added limited view seats) were sold out
Keep rejoicing, I guess , at least until Wednesday, when Billboard will publish the official receipts regarding this show and you will all look desperately pathetic when you'll realize it was nothing but a mistake Pollstar made.
If this turns out to not be a mistake, does that mean Katy's 64% figures are real too and she really performed for only 4k people in a 14k capacity arena?

It is most likely a mistake, the point is when Kats tried to tell Monsters that her 64% is a mistake everyone was saying "Pollstar is accurate! They don't make mistakes!" Now that the tables have turned and it's Gaga getting the short end of the stick, suddenly you all have epiphanies and realize that Pollstar can make mistakes? Lol.
I've seen at least 10 monsters have 64% somewhere in their signature, obviously you guys have a lot of faith in Pollstar if you take that number to heart, so why the sudden distrust?

- San Jose SAP Center at San Jose 11,465 / 11,465 $1,498,246 (Jan 17, 2013)
- San Jose SAP Center at San Jose 14,181 / 16,680 $1,201,315 (Jun 03, 2014)
I'd worry about your own fave's tour and less about ours. Gaga's doing just fine, but thanks for your concern.

Yes, ofc, it makes complete sense that Gaga managed to sell out the exact same arena last year, yet filled more seats this year, and had more seats empty. I'll quote chairman of Live Nation because I think he said it best. Ps, he's the professional:

I just don't know how this **** gets any traction without people doing their homework... a complete fool would say something like that and it could only come from somebody who has an agenda, because it makes absolutely no sense.

Enjoy your day.

Firstly, from the second I saw the 64% figure I called it an obvious mistake (you can check the thread if you want). It was obviously impossible to play for just 4k people; they would have cancelled the show.
Secondly, there is a big difference between those two cases.
In Katy's case, we all knew she was struggling to sell her tickets for her UK shows and we also didn't really know how many tickets could have been left for the second Birmingham show, which could have made the 64% figure pretty plausible for some. Regarding that report, the normal capacity of the arena was there, the normal gross for such an attendance was there, everything seemed about right, only the 64% figure was the problem.
In Gaga's case, we had the interactive ticket map, were we could see how many tickets were left for the show. There is no way 2,500 tickets were left unsold before the show started (considering the receipts reported by Pollstar are right), because there were only 2 limited view sectors with limited tickets left right before the show.
We also know that the average capacity for the SAP Center is about 12-14k. The biggest attendance from the current tours was set by Pink (14,187) and it was 100% SOLD OUT.
There is NO WAY the capacity of the SAP Center could have been expanded to almost 17k in Gaga's case.

Great gross and nice attendance
I like to see monsters are accepting that 85%; see, it's not that bad!

Dr Cake, you're way too good to be arguing with those ignorants. Let them be. They will learn on Wednesday that this is, in fact, a mistake. And if it's not, artRAVE is still doing better than some other current tours out there.

Yeah, I think people should move on. 85%, if not a mistake, it's still one show that wasn't sold out. I mean, both Katy, Gaga and even Miley's underperforming tours are making money. They're fine.

My fave is not a touring force, while all the monsters are saying that Gaga is the biggest tour force of the generation Karma is a bitch you know, but it seems like you still haven't understood this even after 2013
