She owned her own record company Maverick in the 90s. Prodigy and Alanis Morisette are the biggest artists to come from it. She supported Britney spears and gaga at their biggest peaks (so the theory of haters that M only supports artists UNTIL they're successful is obviously crap) these are just a few examples.
it's simple: gaga lied about an email and thanked whitney while wearing one of the most iconic madonna outfits of all time for writing the song she's accused of copying from that same artist. all on national tv. the ultimate slap in the face. and for what reason?
Madonna then didn't say anything about gaga yet.. all they did was SNL and M going to her show with her daughter. so all signals of love and praise and supportr.
I can see why monsters make the btw/EY mix a big deal. but if for just a moment they can look at it another way, before "reductive", they'd have to realise that gaga said some bizarre things. maybe provoking M to say something negative about her. I don't know.
