Robert’s always said he had seven years of this show in him, and my feeling is, I want to do it as long as the writer feels he has something to write… Alicia is basically in every scene. Characters can come and go on the show, but she can’t. So as long as they’re happy to write for Alicia, I’m happy to play her. My guess is we’ll go seven seasons.

The laundry room scene broke me. Seriously, that was needed in order to move forward. Julianna can still rock my world.

Not sure if I liked the idea of Alicia going back to LA&L at first, but if that's what the show needs to bring the characters together again and actually be relevant to the main story, then I'm up for it.

I just wanted to make sure everyone saw the news about The Good Wife. It was just announced during the Super Bowl, but i didn't want anyone to miss the news. Thank you for 7 years of support, love, and encouragement. I have loved playing Alicia, and I trust you, the final season will not disappoint.

The fact that they announced that the show is ending on the most watched tv program of the year says that cbs wants this to be a big, respectable Event finale. Otherwise they would've just quietly put out a press release sometime down the road.

Cuz the first season was below average in the ratings, and it's gotten further below every season since. So I doubt much of America will see this Event.

Nearly finished last night's episode, and it's SO good. It feels so The Good Wife with her back at the firm. That back and forth between Alicia and Diane was so intense. "In bond court?" That DRRAAAAG.
