Mother Monster is not a goddess. She's an amazing artist, but please.. and this is coming from someone who used to be a massive Gaga fan! But the ridiculous music videos, costuming and performances are not artistic, innovative or edgy anymore. It's the same crap over and over, trying to raise more and more shock factor each time. No artist is better than another. Get over the comparisons.

This has probably been brought up already within the 23 pages of the thread, so I'm probably not adding anything new to the conversation, but still felt like posting. Something I rarely do.

I don't believe Rihanna has nearly as much creative control over her work for her to be compared to Madonna, let alone named the new Madonna. Whatever that means. Maybe in terms of her success, which I know little of. I'm having trouble coming up with aspects of Rihanna's career that would warrant such a comparison. The article doesn't even do an adequate job at explaining where they're drawing these parallels......I don't see it.

And when did Madonna ever wear a hair bow? She wore bows in her hair, but she never had a bow made of hair.
