I'm really trying not to freak out about Serena's loss Usually she comes back stronger after being humiliated like that, but this is two slams in a row that she's had really awful losses

Put it into perspective. She nearly died less than a year ago. It is a blessing that she is with us, and she will continue to get stronger because she is the greatest fighter in tennis history. I can't TELL you how ready I am for the French Open this year.
OMG Serena. I'm taking solace in the fact that it's not like she was playing well and got beaten. Her serve was horrendous and she wasn't moving her feet. It was hard to judge her form in her other matches because her opponents played like some of the toddlers at my local courts haha. Luckily, nothing is better than a motivated Serena, so hopefully she'll win Miami.
Kind of hoping Maria loses tonight But she's probably relaxed and relieved that she won't have to play Serena again.
Well that's very harsh of you to be disappointed in someone who gave their all and has had to fight through countless injuries to even still be alive, let alone in the second week of majors.
Wow. I was way too harsh on Hewitt earlier. He's really putting pressure on Djokovic now. That's something very few players in the world right now are able to do. He still has a viable career in tennis, even if he did peak ten years ago.
Most of my faves got knocked out in the 4th round. Lisicki, Williams, Tsonga. I knew Sabine would most likely lose though so I'm glad she at least gave Maria a bit of a challenge.
Hewitt did really well to bring that match to a 4th set.
