I would hate it they held a grudge. I remember seeing Idol write an article about how they have over 300 #1's on Billboard charts. Kelly counts for 62 of those #1's. Idol needs Kelly more than she needs them. Idol can talk smack about how they found stars and sold albums, but they have to rely heavily on Kelly and Carrie for those huge figures.

As far as I know, artists are only eligible to receive the Album of the Year award for albums they're featured on. They are not eligible for any other album categories.
