Just listened to this song for the second time after listening to her album a while back and forgetting about it (just like some people in this thread are probably doing now so they can pretend they loved the album version before Iggy "ruined" it) and it's a good song, but the verses could be stronger. Iggy will definitely take the song to a higher level.

Why? Drake has never had a 5 x Platinum single in his entire career. Iggy already has two with just a fraction of the amount of singles Drake has released.
1) quality is better
2) Drake stimulus is stronger than Iggy's. He did it with Migos, Future, PARTYNEXTDOOR, iLoveMakonnen & Tinashe (2 On). Not to mention that every Drake song makes headlines.
No Iggy remix please. And I fear the era is dead even though this song is probably the best chance she has of getting another hit from Aquarius.
The era been dead though. Pretend did not chart on the main charts. Here album is not selling. Can we not act as if this song was or on the cusp of smashing when it wasn't. Tinashe needs the help to even make it to a second album.
I'm disgusted by all the hate for Iggy when the song is not even out. Everyone seemed to love her when Fancy was #1 and now that's she's not charting in top 10 all of her bandwagon "fans" are gone.

Look at it this way, if you think Iggy is appropriating black culture to get hits, then why can't black artists use Iggy to get hits? Might as well make the most of it. T.I. got a big hit last year which had an Iggy feature, and it was probably his biggest hit since 2009 (not including Blurred Lines).
The opposite of love is not hate it's indifference if people are petitioning for a song they've never heard then that shows the time they have to dedicate to Iggy. Ha impact.
