why are madonna and gaga fans fighting?
I could only imagine that many gaga fans were madonna fans before that old rift.
either way, pay respect to a legend like Madonna and keep it moving.
Madonna's team needs to pull a barbra in that epic barbra/mariah/paramore fight for #1 of 09.

It's not like Madonna had a chance. Empire is the #1 show in broadcast television and almost of the entire season (only behind Walking Dead by not much). Also, Drip Drop
Any album with Drip Drop with it, will smash

Nobody is okay with the numbers, not even you guys, the fans. You can't sit there with a straight face and say you're okay with 125,000 after you guys have spent the past four years trying to come for Gaga's sales in any way you can. 125k is not okay, and to act like the leak matters is hilarious. The dedicated fans will still buy the album and the GP doesn't know or care about the leak. Basically these numbers mean only her fans are buying the record and the public is paying it the utmost dust.
Madonna tried to do something relevant and fresh and TBH she kind of did, but people just aren't interested. You can scream about how she's the most successful artist, how the tour will sell well, and how this is her 300th album, but that doesn't change anything. I guess we all know that, though, since y'all have resorted to comparing Madonna to Kelly Clarkson in an attempt to make these sales seem less bad.

Are you trying to say that if Madonna debuts at #2 after 32 years, Lady Gaga, with her big nose, is now the new Queen of Pop?

What was the breakdown of ticket bundles compared to regular sales with MDNA? I'm just trying to see whether she'll really drop that much at all with the ticket sales being counted the second week.

Who said the ticket sales are counted the second week? Some shoows will go for sale on the 23rd of March which is 3rd week. Bundles are spread throughout the month.

You can't be taken serious with that avatar and since when is comparing a first week sale in US to Kelly Clarkson's bad? Most of her debuts have been close to 300k.

Shouldn't be any competition. A true queen always wins by a mile.

This is one of the reasons why stanning for both artists is a struggle

Maybe it turns out that Taylor Nation has decided to buy up tons of 1989 copies this week, and HDD isn't sure how to predict their fervor for another week at #1.
