04. Beyonce - I Am...Sasha Fierce
Beyonce is at #04 with her successful record for I Am...Sasha Fierce. I didn't get to include this album last year because I haven't heard the whole album yet. This year, thanks to this record, Beyonce had a great 2009. I Am...Sasha Fierce shows two personalities of Beyonce as she offers beautiful ballads which takes mostly about relationships on the 'I Am' side while she offers fiesty and danceable tracks on the 'Sasha Fierce' side.
Single Ladies would have to be the signature song for this album, everyone loves this anthem so much even me. The best track from that side is probably
Sweet Dreams. I also enjoy jamming to
Ego and
Diva and
Video Phone, the track which features Lady Gaga. The ballads are also pure R&B perfection.
If I Were A Boy remains to be one of my favorites since last year.
Halo,
Broken-Hearted Girl and her version of
Honesty are also what I like from the I Am side. My personal favorite for this side would have to be
Smash Into You, a song where I'm always feel at peace whenever I listen to. Beyonce did an amazing job for her 3rd solo album, thus she definitely deserve to be called the Artist of this Decade.

03. Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
The Fame placed outside of my top 10 last year. This year, Lady Gaga placed 3rd with her latest record for The Fame Monster. I am personally excited to buy this album even if I already had The Fame. Lady Gaga's fear of different things is the main theme of this record, thus resulting to my #03 album for this year. The lead single
Bad Romance is obviously the best track for this record; everyone probably knows the lyrics of this song already. Her collaboration with Beyonce for
Telephone is another track I personally love, a song which talks about breaking up on a telephone. The Spanish-Italian tune
Alejandro is also good to listen to as well as the ballad
Speechless.
Monster &
Teeth are also enjoyable & insane dance tracks from this record. The other cd I have includes the songs from The Fame;
Paparazzi and
Poker Face which are huge hits this year are the songs I always listen.
LoveGame,
Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) and
Just Dance remains to be my favorite just like last year. Just like Beyonce, Lady Gaga had a successful 2009, thanks to both The Fame and The Fame Monster. I am definitely looking forward what will Lady Gaga do next year, more hit singles, albums and especially the out of this world image.
