Don't get your hopes up, climbing outside the Top 100 doesn't require much sales and I'm sure the song will not go much higher.

They should release "Te Amo" -- it's a perfect pop song and it's already big in Europe, I see it on TV all the time.

I don't really think it'll do well if it was re-released to radios again, since it didn't do well at first. But the downloads can still increase though. Either way, I'm hoping it'll become a hit! And I knew it would be coming somehow.

I remember the Te Amo video was added to iTunes when it looked like R101 was a big flop (no offense). The song never went inside the Top 200. After being featured on an episode of The Hills, the song never went Top 200.

Rockstar 101 has shown more promise in the US than Te Amo. I realize that R101 got more promotion but Te Amo didn't exactly chart great either.

It's doing average. A moderate hit. Not the smash every is acting like it would be. All Rockstar needed was some promo, and a correct release and it would've done well from the start. It's performance on iTunes just from a 20 second commercial proves this.
Even Te Amo was shown on TV just like Rockstar 101, a week after the video premiered, and never went very far.

It already got "some promo". American Idol was a huge promo for the song and it didn't even go Top 100.

"Te Amo" is a much better song and they should've tried it, imo.

Timing is everything. And that was not the right time for the song. But the very fact that it's higher than American Idol on iTunes from a 20 second commercial on MTV should tell you that the song has a lot of potential.
