The song is so different. I was smiling when I first listened to it. I felt so indifferent though but after a few spins this is a CERTIFIED BOP. I absolutely love that she's taking risks. People might not like it but then again there's MM which was more universally loved.
Not sure how someone can dislike it. The vocals are fine, a little much in places but I'll take that over her making no effort at all. The lyrics are awesome, the production (which I thought I'd hate) is superb and I love the structure of the song. This gives me great hope for Glory - and I think I actually might like it a bit more than Make Me... however both tracks are great.
I won't try and deny the song is awful but so was Mmm papi and I loved that too, sounds like as close to her real voice as we'r gonna get anytime soon but I can't get enough, it's upbeat and fun. I could probably do without the odd "work it work it" parts but I'm growing to love that too!
