I think it'll be somewhere in between. It's gonna smash worldwide. That's a given. She's still a force to be reckoned with in Europe. But I think it'll be top five for a week or two in the US. I just don't see radio supporting her, ever again. And it has nothing to do with how good or bad the song is. It would be strange hearing her voice again on top 40 radio.

Oh, I should've clarified that I was referring to the U.S. only. She still has a lot of hit making power in Europe, I don't doubt for a second that she'll do well there.

For the U.S., a lot depends on her Super Bowl performance. Having a bad, say, VMA performance is one thing. But EVERYONE watches the Super Bowl. **** it up there, and people will remember forever. Ask Janet and Christina.

She's always been a bitch. She will always be a bitch. Her recent comments should come as no surprise.

I am curious to how people expected 4 Minutes to do .... and I would also like to know how much it happened with.

I think people throw 4 Minutes under the bus too much. That was a SMASH, & despite not peaking at #1 on the Hot 100, it spent multiple weeks at #1 on HDS & it had decent longevity. Frankly, I don't see how this could possibly do better, unless people are really here for this type of sound.

I know what you mean. I'm not sure which baffles me more, the fact that she and her label ever thought this was single worthy, or the fact that they vehemently ignored initial reactions to it when it leaked. I was looking forward to being in love with her first single but this has dampered my mood multitudes. Celebration and 4 minutes, two songs that always get ripped apart, take a collective **** on this song.
