Because Bernie actually did have a chance all this time. But New York and Pennsylvania will be what ends Bernie if anything, that much has pretty much been obvious for quite some time now.
Let's not act like Hillary had this in the bag from day 1 - and most of the rhetoric used with Clinton has always been centered on counting superdelegates with her actual delegate count. The media has done its best to paint Hillary as having a bigger lead than she actually did have all this time. I'm not going to blame winning the campaign on the media, because I think her win will be due to her running a tighter campaign this time than she did during her battle with Obama.
