^ IKR? well that is just incentive for us to buy many copies of the album. plus with the promotion, she'll hopefully have a better first week than with Blackout!!!!!!!!! HAVE FAITH
I definitely think she'll debut better than Blackout. That's a given. "Womanizer" is a more rounded comeback song, she'll be promoting, amazing video to be *****d on channels that still play music videos. It's all in the cards.
Jay-Z on the other hand. IDK. This album did just pop up, so who knows. The current singles out aren't getting much attention, at least generally. IDK what's going on underground.
OMG she WILL pass Mariah's TMB first week bullet mark
actually i meant to say Madonna's 4 Minutes. LOL
i don't know if that's the record or something, but i'm pretty sure Womanizer can come close to break it.
The last Jay Z album sold 425k in his first week ...and there was promotion, but not a pop friendly song to cross over.
He sold 680k first week for 2006's 'Kingdom Come'. Yes, his sales tend to dip dramatically afterwards like most all rappers...but as far as first week goes with 'The Blueprint 3', he's gonna be hard to top.
Unless he bumps up his album a few days like he did back in 2003 when he and Britney were going head-to-head...Cuz 'The Black Album' would've beaten 'In The Zone' if they both were released at the same time.
screw Jay-Z. He WOULD try to ruin her chances of being #1, but she can't move her album anymore because people will KNOW thats the reason it just sucks becasue she deserves #1 this time, but Jay-Z Has always had huge first week numbers........ ewww im pissed.
and I loved in the interview about how she admits POM was not that amazing lol
I honestly dont think Britney gives a **** if she is #1 or #2. I think she is at a point where, all that ****... been there, done that, had fun... now Im just gonna make music and be happy and raise my family. I dont think she cares about "competition"
