I did the list so we have an easier way to keep track of all the horror releases this year.. cause by the end of 2012 I'd forgotten some of the horror releases that happened earlier on in the year... and I'm not even sure whats happening with Jeepers Creepers 3 but it's down for a 2013 release reguardless

Well I don't find horror films scary but the tension is built really well in The Strangers and Silent House... you will probably find those scary. Also you may find The Pact and Sinister scary. If you wanna watch a violent horror then I suggest Mothers Day... it's an amazing film but it's really violent. If you want something like the Saw films then watch The Collector. If you want a comedy horror then watch Zombieland, Jennifers Body, Tucker And Dale vs Evil or Drag Me To Hell.
I don't know what you find scary though so it's hard to suggest anything for you... but you will deffo be able to find some really good movies that you will enjoy in that list I gave you... if you don't then you have no taste whasoever

The Grave Encounters was the best hand cam movie i have ever seen. A lot better than the Blair Witch and the PA series.
This gif gets me everytime.

Grave Encounters was okay, not really scary. IMO, Blair Witch>>>>>>>>>>>>all other found footage films.
It's so well acted, you forget it's all fake. And the sense of dread when they have to sleep at night. Or when they realize they've lost their map and they're going in circles. Not only are they facing something supernatural, but they're lost in the middle of nowhere, with no way to contact anybody.
It's the most terrifying found footage film I've ever seen. But maybe that's because I first saw it in 2001 and it was still pretty new.

All of this. The acting makes it so believable and the feeling of isolation through it is just

Looking back on the year of horror, I think Cabin In The Woods was definitely my favorite I saw in theaters. The last few scenes of it are just so good My biggest disappointment would have to be V/H/S. Such a let down

This.
I agree with VHS. Didn't like it. I kinda liked the Honeymoon story, but... no.
