I'm a little disappointed the NX won't be as powerful as the PS4 but hopefully it's just as powerful as the Xbox One. I've kind of accepted the fact that this may be the last Nintendo console and that they'll just focus on their handhelds in the future.
What Nintendo says means nothing. The DS also wasn't supposed to replace the Gameboy

All the Sony stans deserve to be banned. They're like a pack of rabid animals when it comes to trashing Microsoft and Nintendo and shoving the PS4 down everyone's throat and constantly resort to flaming.
The Nintendo Base and Xbox Base (do they have one?) remain classy.
Anyway, I don't think we should make ANY assumptions about the NX's hardware or interface yet. We really don't even know what it is exactly.
Anyone else feel like the 3ds is near death? I've only bought 1 3DS game this year, compared to the 10+ i bought in 2013/14
Honestly no. I feel like the first party support has gone kind of hush but the third party support seems as strong as ever and it seems as though Nintendo has no plans of introducing a successor. If anything I feel like we would probably get a third pillar that would just get sacked for extending the life of the 3DS.
