Hey, is it true that Kesha has been working on new music since last year in the summer?
Yes. Kesha's pretty much always writing, so that's most likely true.

I prefer Warrior, personally - but Cannibal was the glory days, honestly...
Both her and Luke still were making music they BOTH wanted to make, and it was a great time, not forced or anything.
The whole record (basically) was written / recorded in 2-3 weeks in like September before it was released

Mine's the complete opposite, Animal > Warrior > Cannibal.
I don't really get your statement though... being recorded in 2-3 weeks, wouldn't that make it forced? They only had a set amount of studio time, Kesha couldn't just take her time to write the songs that she really wanted to, they were very rushed to get enough material together, hence why Crazy Beautiful Life is essentially unfinished filler (I love the song, but where is the bridge that it NEEDS to bring it all together?) and C U Next Tuesday is tacked on the end. It doesn't have any highlights or standouts either, they're all kind of around the same level of "good". Just my opinion, though.
Animal is not Kesha's best album Pfffffffff impossible.
Agreed I mean it's great, but Warrior & Cannibal are overall better imo :

Why does the "Blackout" talk keep coming back up? Kesha is not on it. We're done here!
No one was even talking about Blackout I posted a filtered video of the Lace & Leather background vocals, and someone got their thong in a twist
And yes she is, this video proves it. You can clearly hear her from 17s until the end. We're done here!

Sleazy and Cannibal alone>>>>>>>>>>>
IThe only songs from Animal that I bop to regularly are Your Love Is My Drug, Animal, and D.I.N.O.$.A.U.R.. I'm not "sick" of Cannibal or Warrior yet
Cannibal may be her most critically acclaimed, but that doesn't mean that much to me. I prefer to listen to the music that I enjoy, not what the critics say is good.
I can listen to all three of Kesha's major releases from start to finish and enjoy them all. But I get the most enjoyment out of Animal, therefore I consider it her best album. It's really as simple as that for me.
It's just so forgettable, which is such a shame, because it could have been, and should have been, her signature track. Instead it's a half-finished, toned down version of what it could have been. It doesn't even say "Crazy Beautiful Life" in the chorus. And the lack of a YLIMD-level-of-slayage bridge is just depressing.
My thoughts on the whole Animal v Warrior situation are similar to a lot of other fans. What made 'Animal' such a great debut album was due to its creativity and originality. Look at pop radio over the past five years, I mean halve the songs don't even make a point whilst trying to sound all soulful and deep (especially EDM music), and a lot of it is just bland trash that song writers know will be played on the radio. Animal on the other hand, although some individual songs' quality were questionable, no other artist at the time or to this day uses a similar formula to Kesha when writing songs. I mean for ****s sake she wrote a song about old stalkerish men and a boy names Stephen who she stalked, i mean who else does that? That is part of the reason why I fell in love with her, she doesn't want to be just another pop artist who writes music she thinks will perform well on radio, she writes music that comes from the heart, no matter how silly or stupid the subject matter.
Warrior on the other hand became what many pop albums are and that was an album of generic tracks (in terms of subject matter, vocals etc). Although many of the songs showcase and explore new sounds (like Wonderland and Love Into the Light), the album just doesnt feel like it has the personality that Animal had, and I blame this on the clash of both Kesha's and Dr. Luke's vision, which resulted in Warrior sounding like a hybrid between Kesha growing musically as an artist and Dr. Luke's need for every song to work for radio. Although Warrior may have my all time favourite Kesha tracks on it (LITL, Last Goodbye, C'mon...) It fails to accomplish what Animal so easily did and that was to seperate Kesha from the other pop girls/artists who are in the 'pop' industry.
So overall as an album, for me it is Animal >>> Warrior

Every single word of this post.
Kesha's personality shines through so much better on 'Animal'. Whereas there are some tracks on Warrior that really would have been sung by anyone and been just as good because they're good songs but they're not unique to Kesha songs.
I don't know why you all feel the need to compare pieces of her work against each other, though. Each has it's own attractions and they're all different and unique in their own way, so there's no real reason to pit them against each other.
Does anyone know what's going on with Kesha's current record deal?
The Flaming Lips posted that Lip$ha is getting released when she works out her stuff with Luke, so does that mean she's still working with him? I thought Pebe said she would never work him again.

We don't quite know that much. The terms of her deal are very vague and it's not something that is spoken of very often if at all. However, what they could have meant was that she needs to get Luke to allow her to continue working on Lip$ha and actually release it because I don't think Luke was ever here for her doing the project with them. But it could also mean that she's possibly trying to find a way for her to be able to leave him and go to a different label. We just don't know tbh
