Blackpink completely surprised me. The songs are both excellent - I have literally no complaints - and the MVs are amazing too.
ALSO and let me just regale over this for like 5 seconds I TOTALLY called Jisoo being lead vocal level. Her voice is so interesting, she's a really husky, heavy mezzo which is such a great contrast against Rose's voice plus Lisa + Jennie's higher voices. And speaking of which, the two of them kind of went off, and my extreme relief at Lisa (and Jisoo) being able to sing is unparalleled.
I haven't been this excited or pleased with a debut in a long time. YG literally got everything right for once.
