I like the ideas of singles not for the sake of hits, but momentum for an era. Good visuals is all we need and it doesn't even have to be 'epic' like a typical Gaga video (kind of like what Beyonce did last year). Like 2011's VMA's commercial for a mv (but I'm sure she'd be crucified by fans for having a boring vid)

Yes, I agree! I don't care about hits but I do think good consistency will only help her. Visuals and performances. I would have loved for her VMA performance last year to have had more emphasis on her raw abilities than her theater ideas. I loved the performance, I did, but I need for her to make her talent a big deal! ARTPOP era feels like untapped potential!

That's a good point. He is responsible for the name Mother Monster, but I'm not sure if he's also responsible for the name little monsters or what. That may just be going too deep into the matter - how can a judge stop a fanbase from calling themselves something? And it isn't like Gaga ever "officially" named her fanbase little monsters, the name was just picked up and spread like wildfire (and also started the whole naming your base trend). On the other hand, she did declare herself Mother Monster in writing. As for LM.com, I have no idea. I'm not a lawyer lol

I'm pretty sure the whole obsession with art thing this era was supposed to be a set-up for Act II. Like this is who she is, but it was deprived of her and now she's avenging it. Kind of like the whole Candy Warhol pop ate my heart thing. I don't know

I've been so pissed at Troy ever since the tea has been getting spilled. Like - why? Ugh. The fact that he won't let her touch **** that she made and worked on just pisses me off. I'm assuming she truly and completely fired him and it must have been nasty. I can't imagine anything amicable is left in that relationship other than Gaga's respect for helping build her career.

Like scrapping initial TEOG video, those actions make me question what actually happened instead of pointing the finger at 'Gaga's ego'. A choice like firing Troy is pretty big, especially after the success Gaga had. And she got backlash for being/'playing' victim when... who knows.

I'm confused about the whole TEOG situation. All I remember seeing was were reports of the originally video featuring ambulances, mermaids, and water, which was featured in Marry The Night and You and I. I never believed it because it probably was meant for the videos it was actually used in.
