!! To me RPPP just started off as a "nice song" but what amazes me is that it's just kept growing on me more and more, it's easily their best song to me now and I'm not even sick of it.

I get what YG's doing with WINNER. They are the boys of Gagnam. They live life, they have fun, they look good. Fashionable, fresh, fun. Adventurous but also down to Earth. 100% real with no gimmicks.

well I mean we literally know they're not 100% real, as we watched their construction from the ground up on TV

that said, I think the approach they're taking to make more of their artists relatable to common people lately is good. Like, really, anyone could be AkMu...whereas acts like 2NE1 and BIGBANG have the celebrity aura turned up so high that it might make them seem cold and distant.

I get it from a PR perspective, for sure. It's smart.

It is smart and it's really going to help YG with his "my acts make real music" approach he's taken this year. I remember the interview where he said he wants all his acts to be more hands on with their work and really help create their material, so this stripped down image is going to go hand-in-hand and make the authentic approach believable for the audience.

I'm so over these WINNER photos though, I just want to hear the music and what direction they'll go in.

Unlike most of ATRL, the K-Pop fandom and Korea I actually really enjoyed 4Minute's comeback this year. The live performances were on point, the trashy MV was well executed, the fashion >, and Whatcha Doin Today had a perfect rap/sing distribution

I think they'll keep TM to fall/winter releases, fits them better anyways since they have darker concepts. HyunA always delivers those late summer bops anyways with her cute/sexy concepts.

And yassss you better stan for 4Legends their underrated BOP.
